WOW! Swaffette has topped herself this time folks!

Not only has she created one of the most beautiful formals I have ever seen, but she did it in a brand new style!! She has also created a matching suit for the men as well!

Courtesan comes in either silver or gold...or...if you're like me, you want both! *Smile*
Courtesan is richly textured in a luscious brocade design. It comes with a a prim bustle skirt, prim leg attachments (both upper and lower) for added fullness, prim corset laces, glitch pants, corset top, corset top with shawl, prim shawl sleeves, and matching prim ballroom slippers! WOW!

Courtesan and it's matching suit can be found at High Society, a new venture for Swaffette and SF Designs. This store features formal wear only. If you want to take a step back into Old Hollywood, stop over to High Society and pay a visit. You won't be disappointed...as a matter of fact, it will take your breath away! NEW Victorian Table Lamps at Tamie's Light Creations!!

I finally managed to get a new design made and released at my stores!

These are the new Victorian Table Lamps. To date there are nine new designs. Each one is richly textured and slightly prim decadent, but priced within reach for ANYONE at L$75. *Smile*

The Victorian table lamps use some new scripting (new to me) and they have a wonderfully realistic look to them with the effects of the scripts.

These would look perfect in any Victorian home on a side table or bedside stand or dresser. Heck, they'd look good in any home that appreciates the details of victoriana!

NEW October Gown!

This has to be, by far, the most gorgeous new gown I have seen for the new season!

Swaffette really outdid herself with all of the hard work, and beauty she poured into this autumnal formal gown. The October gown is graced with beautiful patterns of gold and brown leaves, a hint of orange here and there too. Upon looking closely, it reminds you of an early fall day, glowing golden with touches of the bright, fiery colors yet to come.

October gown comes with glitch pants, the top, two prim skirts each a different fitting so that all avatars can look lovely in it, prim sleeves, and a beautiful prim cape as well. It's a bargain at any price with the workmanship that has gone into it, but Swaffette always makes sure things are easily afforded in her store and this is a STEAL at $L400!

Autumn Tweed started out as a men's release, and naturally, the ladies liked it too. So, here it is for the ladies, and better than a girl could wish for! I just love how this outfit turned out!

Autumn Tweed comes with two lengths of sweaters, a prim collar, and prim jacket flaps. There is also the option of wearing it without all of the prims. Very versatile, very autumnal! Business-like, and yet casual enough to be worn in any setting. A keeper for sure! Yet another fine staple in my virtual closet, provided by the best..SF Designs!!

First and foremost is my shop at SF Designs on the Lotus sim. My great friend Swaffette offered me some space and I am so grateful! You can find me in search under Tamie's Light Creations or you can just follow the slurl below. *Smile*

Coming up right behind that store is my shop at Legends. This club belongs to my hubby and he very graciously offered me the chance to sell my items there. This was actually my very first shop area to have of my own. He taught me everything, and shared his space with me...and his heart too, of course! *Smile* It just doesn't get any better than him!

Now, my shop at Baby Monkey is very special to me also. Pixie and Gonker are some very GREAT people to know and have as friends. They got me started on the road to expansion and I will never, ever be able to thank them enough for all of the opportunities that they offer their shop owners at the Baby Monkey Mall! Those two have genuine hearts of gold!

Folks, if you love the blues you have GOT to go hear Forsythe Whitfield. I don't care where, but GO!!

This man had me boogieing all over my living room! He has a unique style and sound of his own and yet its perfect for the blues! I just can't express how GOOD this man is! You have to hear him for yourself. My suggestion? GO AS SOON AS YOU FIND HIS NEXT SHOW!!! WOOT!

I heard him at Apfelland Airport . It was the first time I had ever been there, but it was a very nice venue to visit.

I have several live artists in-world that I favor. Forsythe just became the most recent addition to that list! *Smile*

Rest assured, he'll be a pretty regular feature in this blog, as I get to know more about him and his music. *Smile*

NEW Martine Cocktail Dress and Modern Millies at SF Designs!!

Oh my gosh! Swaffette has REALLY pleased me with this latest creation!

A week or two ago, I asked her if she had thought about creating a babydoll dress. She said she thought there were too many already. I assured her a girl can never have too many babydolls! LOL!

When she came into the store to give the models the dresses, she advised me that she started out creating a babydoll and created this dress. WOOO HOOO! What a hit!!

Ladies, you can't go wrong buying this dress! If you like movement in your virtual garments, this dress is definitely for you! RUN, go NOW, and buy this dress!!

Martine is classically gorgeous with a black beaded look. It has two prim portions one for the upper chest and waist and one for the skirt. The prims are FRINGE!!! Martine has that flapper feel to it and yet it looks and feels like a babydoll! You will look SO gorgeous in this. And what girl doesn't like being the envy of all in the club? *Grin*

As if the dress weren't enough, Swaffette also created a GREAT pair of sandals to team it up with! A beautifully accented pair of sculpty sandals. Modern Millies are lovely black patent with delicate white bow accents. A MUST in your shoe wardrobe, ladies! *Smile*

My good friend Swaffette has really been busy!!

I've gotten way behind in helping my friend and boss at SF Designs to promote her store and her gorgeous creations. *pouts*

BUT..I'm doing my best to get caught up here! LOL!

In the past couple of weeks, Swaffy has released some wonderful items.

These are the most recent releases.

Come on over to the store SF Designs and check out the sporty and very cute dress Lulu!

A black and white jumper style dress that is perfect for that sporty almost nautical look.

Lulu comes with two prim skirts that are scripted so that you can re-size them easily using the menu. It also has a black and white striped shirt worn under the jumper. You can't miss with this little dress! Come get you one today!!

Pictured with the Lulu dress is another one of Swaffy's recent releases, her sculpty Slouch Boots with high heel. These boots are perfect worn with a sporty dress and look fantastic with a pair of comfy jeans. Also included in the pack with the boots, is a matching set of bangles. Now that's what I call perfect accessorizing! Woot!

There are also slouch boots just released today with NO heel and those are wonderful as well. Those you will see pictured here with jeans and the SFD Essential Black Shirt.

Not to be left out, the very latest release is an addition to the SFD Essentials line. Swaffy has just released the SFD Essential Black shirt. This is a dress shirt, button up style, and comes with prim collars and prim ties. I believe the collars are scripted to allow you to get that perfect fit, courtesy of a very easy to use drop down menu. Girls, this shirt isn't for the men only, so come and get you one too! It looks HOT worn with a pair of jeans, or...by itself when running around the house in those more...private moments! *grin*

Swaffy has also released some great looking gladiator sandals, and although I don't have a pic of them to post..you should really come get a pair! The look fantastic with some shorts or a skirt!

I did some exploring with my friend Dood yesterday. He was looking for a "dragonfly" emitter he had seen on another sim, so he could purchase it for his residence to surprise his sweetie with it. *Smile*

Upon landing in this AWESOME sim, the first thing I saw was this completely cool dragon/serpent ship docked at the landing point! OK, we're off to a great start! That totally took my breath away! The folks that dreamed up, and then built this sim deserve some sort of recognition! Talk about cool! There is no way my pics will ever do this place justice! It's a must see destination!!

Among the coolest things on the sim are these giant dragons...highly detailed, completely friggin' cool dragons!! Their beauty nestled into the beauty and creativity of the rest of atmosphere of this sim....too cool for words...it's like stepping into your biggest fantasy!

There is a mall there...complete with it's own beautiful golden dragon head sticking out of the front of it. Inside...tons of goodies, from lucky chairs, to freebies, to women's clothing...right down to dragon shoulder pets and "dragonfly" emitters that are completely original and not seen anywhere else in SL! And lastly, but by far the coolest...full sized dragon avatars!!! WOOT!!

There is another dark castle on the property...you can hang for your lindens there...1 for 10 if you dare to slip your neck into the noose...above a very detailed dragon skeleton...or..below the blackest, darkest, most evil looking black dragon that adorns the top of the building!

Go check out W&M Designs http://slurl.com/secondlife/WM%20Dragons%20Temple/129/250/23 ...if for no other reason than to soak in the atmosphere and step into fantasy for just a little while! You won't be sorry you went! *Grin*

I admit, recently I have been too lax in my exploration and investigation of places new and old in SL. One of the places I hadn't been to in a long while was Adored Clothing. WOW! Did I ever miss a lot of action and changes there!

You should go to Adored Clothing http://slurl.com/secondlife/Alhena/133/125/24 , if you haven't ever been there, or if like me, you have not visited in a while! Talk about a cool sim! It's a shopper's dream! Not only has Adored itself grown, but the whole sim has been revamped!

Adored is huge, and cute and PINK! LOL! Lots of room to shop and enjoy yourself. A ton of variety...from gowns to hair and everything in between..all in one store! BUT! The experience doesn't stop there!

Step out into the street and take a look around...coffee carts, tables to sit and chat...shops galore for everything from latex to men's shoes and back again!! Ohhhh....and don't forget to fly up and check out the Space Needle....that's a totally unique feature you won't see anywhere else!

Not to mention...every once in a while, Amy throws one hell of a treasure hunt there! Never junk or the average freebie..ALWAYS her own creations, or the original creations of another shop owner on the sim. (Mainly Amy's creations though.)

A Rockin' AWESOME Night at Legends!!

Tonight was one of those special event nights that turned out to be just a really rockin' good time!

We held a Southern Rock Festival tonight at Legends http://slurl.com/secondlife/Sababurg/168/224/101 . We held three contests in tandem. Bull riding, You as your favorite southern rock album cover (pic) and you in costume, in person, as your favorite southern rock album cover. It was a hoot! I had a blast shopping for my costume, taking the pics and then preparing the texture in PSP! Here you can see the original cover, and my rendition of it below. *Grin*

We had many drop in guests and those of us that stuck around for the full event, had a hell of a good time! Always come check out the events at Legends, you don't know what you're missing! *Smile*

Old Friends, New Club, Great DJ and LOTS of fun!!!

I recently had the opportunity to reconnect with some old friends when they contacted me to hire my friend Dood to DJ in their newly opened club. It's been a lot of fun chit chatting with them this week and making arrangements for Dood's gigs, etc.

Lil and Sg are two of the best people I know in SL! Both are a ton of fun, drama free, and there is never a dull moment LOL!

Their new club is Erotic City http://slurl.com/secondlife/Dauphin/218/144/111 and the place simply ROCKS!! It's probably the only club that I know of where the DJ's get to choose the music for their allotted time in the booth(as long as it rocks!). It's quite simply, never disappointing. You hear the best rock and roll you could think of and the sets are always hits!

My friend, whom I also manage, Dood-plays there now and had his first set today...totally rocked the house!! Come see him there if you ever get the chance to, you won't be sorry! He's all entertainment!

This victorian lamp is the result of puttering around with building...and it was made at a time when I was worried about test results, etc. so it was also the result of trying to keep myself occupied. I'm pretty proud of the way it turned out! *grin*

Finally! Jer's birthday pics!

Due to some RL health issues and some other general RL stuff getting in the way, these are rather late in getting posted. But, I'm happy to say that that shouldn't be a problem anymore. *Smile*

I tried to make Jericho a really nice birthday party to come home to that day. I made him a cake and banner, and went out and bought all the trimmings to go with it. I even bought him a really cool toy to make jewelery and small items with from Skidz Primz! *smile*

I'm hoping that for him, it was a very nice birthday...even if it was just small get together.

Our good friend Dood was there with his wife and we even had a couple new people pop in to the club while we were celebrating. That's always fun! LOL!

Anyway, I had alot of fun making his cake...primmy as it was (95 prim because I included ALL his candles! *grin*) and tons of fun preparing everything else for him as well. I love to spoil him, and I love to have it show!

So...here are the pics!

EDIT: Ok...I think I messed up here. NO Jericho is NOT 95 yrs old! That's just how many prim it took to make his cake...with all of the cake pieces and then the candles (2 prim a piece). Sooo...you do the math, count the candles...however you want to try and figure it out...cuz I'm not telling! :oP

Tonight is very special to me. Tonight is my husband's RL birthday!

We have planned a birthday party for him tonight at Legends, so if you're looking for a good time and would like to help a really super guy celebrate his special day, come on out to Legends and party with us! If there is one thing I can say about my husband...he is certainly creative...and entertaining! LOL!

Jer decided he was going to make a rocking horse. Now, if you're a beginner like me, this is not only talent, but impossible to fathom doing yourself.

Jer and I were talking in IM this morning..when he commented on something he was needing...a tail, if I remember correctly. Well now, let me tell ya, that is not something you EVER hear Jericho request! LOL! Naturally this piqued my interest, and he sent me a tp so I could check out just WHAT in the world he might be in need of a tail for! LOL!

Upon landing at the building site, THIS is what I saw...and then marvelled at...and then hopped on LOL!

Jericho and I are usually very busy people in SL. But every once in a while, we have to just slow down and enjoy each other for a change. *Smile*

This is one of those type of situations. We waited so long to get the new house put up. Then, there seemed to be one stumbling block after another while Jer was getting it put up on the property. Bless his heart, he worked so hard on that for what seemed to be days. And then, of course, there was the issue of getting furnished...new marriage, new life, new home...new furnishings were in order as well. All that stuff takes time...lots of it if you happen to have very particular tastes to satisfy LOL!

Well, we finally have it mostly furnished. It was time to make it our HOME.

Sooo....as with our song, and our SL story goes....We Danced. *Big Smile*

WOW! What a hunt!!

I don't know how many of you out there were aware of something going on this week called The Red Stick Hunt. If you get the chance this week...go on this hunt!! Tons of booty to collect from some of the best places SL has to offer and a challenging good time too!

The Red Stick Hunt is being held in SL to compliment The Red Stick Animation Festival being held this week in RL in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I'm not sure on all of the particulars of the festival, so I can't really elaborate further without sounding stupid LOL!

There is a notecard you can pick up and the kickoff spot for the hunt http://slurl.com/secondlife/Granymyr/228/53/34 ...it has all of the details of what the festival is all about, and it has absolutely tons of landmarks in it that are your hunt locations in-world. I am STILL sorting all the goodies I received on this hunt, and let me tell you, most..if not ALL were keepers...not the usual junk you might get on some other hunt.

Here is one of the stops along the hunt. Earthstones http://slurl.com/secondlife/EarthBound/125/134/25 is an absolutely gorgeous store, full of gorgeous natural semi-precious stone jewelery and other items that use these stones. The setting is fabulous and VERY well built. I will certainly be making repeat trips to this store to add to my ever growing collection of jewelery in SL. There really isn't anything you could ever say bad about this beautiful sim...although, I was a bit disappointed to see them charging a small fee for each red stick they had hidden for the hunt. Seems a bit...I dunno...greedy perhaps...to charge for it, when so many...well...all of the rest of the stops on the hunt were generously giving items out for the hunt at no charge at all. Don't let that stop you from checking out Earthstones store or the Earthbound sim in general...its a gorgeous place full of great quality items you should at least have the pleasure of checking out! *Smile*

This is the first red stick hunt in SL, so please, go check it out...hunt a little...or ALOT...but make sure you take a peek and make this an event we can continue to have in SL! I promise, you won't be sorry! *Smile*

I decided a week or two ago, that a very cozy room in my new house should belong to my husband. He is a writer in RL and sometimes, when the inspiration strikes him, he will write in RL while sitting somewhere in SL. I thought he deserved a very nice place in SL, in which to do just that.

So, I set about, trying to pin down his tastes, colors, themes, etc. Once I learned what he liked, I set off to find furnishings. Well! Let me tell ya....some of these designers ask wayyyyyy too much for simple items! So, I found a desk I like, and once I did, I began making my own version of it. Many changes and lots of cussing later, I finally had a desk suitable enough for MY husband to create his literary works at. *Smile*

I also managed to make some office accessories to match. And lastly, I put up some artwork that suits his theme.

These photos warm my heart. He now spends alot of his time at our home, in his study, surrounded by things he loves. *Smile*

Can't you just see the bestseller forming?! *grin*

I finally got my new house set up in the past couple weeks. I just love it!

I figured with a new house of a new style, I would furnish it with all new furnishings that match the style. Jericho and I talked it over and decided on a southwest theme for the house. It's country, with that burst of color and flair of the southwest. VERY cozy and homey. *Smile*

SO...off we went in search of southwest furniture..which is very hard to come by in SL!

Jericho checked quite a few places out, as did I. As luck would have it, he hit the nail on the head when he discovered Country Creations http://slurl.com/secondlife/Sand/32/34/147 ! OMG! This place rocks! Not very big, and the inventory is small there...so far...but its quality AND very cute! So, if you like log furniture and you like southwest or country styles...THIS is the store to go to!

I bought the 16 piece blue set she has there. (Pictured below) It's just beautiful! It adds SO much to the look of my house...very nice, indeed! I also love the lamps included in this set....they sense when its dark and automatically come on...no clicking involved! WOO HOO!!!

They also have FIVE different versions of the Bunny suit! WHOA! I had a heck of a time deciding what I wanted...but then settled on the NEW Pink Frilly Bunny. This is such a cute outfit and it has so many different ways you can wear it...from sweet and innocent to the very naughty bunny! *Grin*

Babydoll's has a very nice layout, with large departments in different sections of the store.

I happened to see that they have a huge trampoline set up just behind the landing point too, for those who want to "hop" in and have some fun! LOL!

Since today is the Grand Re-Opening of Legends, and the contest is Best in Easter...I had to go in search of a suitable outfit to wear.

There are a couple stores I had completely forgotten about....until today!

Midnyte always offers great items just special for her group members too! Today I picked up a bunny outfit from last year for free AND one for this year for 1L!! Now who can beat that price?! LOL!

Oahu http://slurl.com/secondlife/Oahu/81/160/27 is really something! It has apparently just recently been re-designed...and WOW!

It's a gorgeous, lush, tropical dream!

While it's small, it has alot of neat things there to take a look at. There are small shops, great little tiki's set out where you can dance, or just relax with your special someone. There are the waves of course, so grab a surfboard while you're there and take it for a spin! There are high rises with store fronts in them...a great path to walk along. Hey! They are even having an Easter egg hunt there right now!

There is one thing at the island that makes the trip very worthwhile. There is a virtual replica of the memorial of the Arizona. If you get the chance and WWII history interests you, go see it!

I even took the time to sit for just a while and meditate while I was there. Such a beautiful setting to do it in too!

Go to Oahu and get a little peace and relaxation! *Smile*

I'm so excited! Legends club finally makes it's return to SL!

Jericho has been working very hard, and now the time has come to open the doors of Legend's http://slurl.com/secondlife/Sababurg/167/229/98 back up to the public. It's making it's return to SL in it's brand new location in Sababurg.

Legends is a superb little country western club and it has lots of goodies there for you to enjoy. From the beer can line dances, to the slow romantic dances, we have it all!

There's a sploder/popper...whatever they are calling it today. Just make sure you get in on it or you can't win! *Smile*

You can belly up to the bar and share a conversation and a beer. Or, if you're a tea totaler, you can just hang out, dance and share some conversation with the best people in SL. It's up to you!

We have Bart the Bull too! So make sure you take a ride on him and see what kind of time you come away with! Bart's an ornery cuss, but he's alot of fun! *Grin*

We even have an area upstairs with vendors, so make sure while you're here, you take a look around and see if we have anything in the shopping area you may be interested in as well. From Belt buckles to rugs, there's a little bit of everything in there. Even some of my own creations! *Smile*

I found another place to hunt treasure!!

I found another great place to hunt treasure monthly! Especially for those who like to decorate for each holiday or are looking for new furnishing for their SL homes.

Island Depot http://slurl.com/secondlife/Island%20Depot/224/248/144 runs a huge treasure hunt monthly on their sim..which is also HUGE!

They feature low prim furniture and home accessories. The island is set up in sections. There is everything from low prim beach houses to aquariums and beach accessories. There is a celebration section, outdoor furnishings..heck they even have a store that sells stairs!! This is a must see...and the treasure hunts are a definite perk. *Smile*

This month's hunt, just to give you an idea, features 50 shamrocks all over the island. Hidden, but not hidden so well that you want to give up. It's a very nice hunt, and a great family activity, if you have an SL family. *Smile*

Two days ago, I had the pleasure to be asked by my boss Swaffette, to model a new release for her. So before I go any further, I have to credit her with the great photos I am using for this post. Nice shots Swaffy! *Smiles*

Yes, she's done it again folks! Swaffette has created the CUTEST dance outfits I have seen in quite awhile! Not only do these sets have the most festive spring prints, but they also have a prim bow for the wrap and tie tops and a very ruffled, tiered skirt in the ra-ra style. Many variations of how to wear it so that you can accessorize without trouble too!

Another WONDERFUL evening with my husband and...news about my home!

You know, I keep finding all these really great reasons to blog, talk, brag, and gush about my new hubby! *Smile*

This post is yet another one of those! He just continually makes me happy!

A couple days ago, I bought the parcel next to the one my home is located on. Hey...I needed a place to put my horses! *grin* Not only does this make for a nice place to do just that, but, it's also a very nice area to hang out with my hubby, Jericho.

I can think of nothing better than a quiet evening, swaying in the arms of the sexiest, most compassionate, loving man I have the pleasure of calling my husband. *Smile*

Last night, we just hung out at the house and danced in the gazebo I made a week or so ago. It was wonderful!

Here are some shots of the house and grounds at the new ranch. I am now the proud owner of 7168 sqm on this gorgeous island! I don't have my new house set out yet, but that's coming in due time. *grin*

I'm sort of getting behind in my blog posts. I apologize, but due to illness, I'm a bit slow these days.

This post is one I am very excited about! A couple of really good friends of mine have collaborated with some other great and talented folks too, and have created a new place for ya'll to go and learn to build, should you have an interest to do those things! Kudos to Lady Hathaway, Vichal Beck, and Matika Wombat...among others! *Smiles*

You know...just when you think she's done it all, Swaffette goes and re-invents the wheel or something!

Her latest creation is an essential to the men's wardrobe, but is not limited to the men.

The new SFD Essentials shirt in white is fantastic! It's the executive white dress shirt. It comes in a few different versions all packaged together for many different ways to wear it. Buttoned, unbuttoned, open, tucked, untucked AND it comes with a prim tie that can be worn in the standard fashion, or loose, or just draped around the neck untied! WOW!

Another fun fact about Matika's Textures!!

I just found out last night, that Matika's Textures http://slurl.com/secondlife/Agape%20Enchanted/243/30/24 will now be having monthly "treasure hunts"!

Not the standard hunt, but rather, a challenging style of hunt! Each month, Matika will hold these hunts the first 5 or 6 days of the month. Each day she will have a few items on the sim that will be set to buy for 0L. The catch is...you have to FIND them! *Grin* They aren't packaged in cutesy little present boxes or anything like that. They will just be where ever she has had them on the sim to begin with. SO...mouse over EVERYTHING! OH! And...the items will change every day during those 5 or 6 days at the beginning of the month! YAY!

Also, something else very cool that Matika's does...she sets out freebies each month...a couple times per month! It's normally textures that are brand new to the store and never before released. She also creates a new bear or critter each month and gives those as well. They are located in the middle of the store on a table marked Free items or something to that effect. You can't miss them. *Smile*

LOL! Yesterday was one of those days for me!

I spent so much time earning and saving for the wedding over the past couple months...I didn't get the chance to keep my wardrobe up to date with all of the goodies that creators come out with nearly weekly.

While looking through my "closet", and trying to find something to wear to go with my husband out and about, I discovered I had nothing to wear! Yeah, yeah, typical female reaction...oh well...I'm a female! LOL!

So, while my husband was finishing up a modeling shoot, I went shopping. *grin*

I went to one of my favorite stores in SL, Alluring Secrets http://slurl.com/secondlife/Wards/195/123/75 , to see what I have been missing in the Hot LaLa line of clothing there. OH BOY! There were so many great items, I couldn't decide.

So, I did what any good wife would do...dragged the hubby in to help me pick! LMAO!

And help he did! I ended up with some really great denim casuals. *Smile* Hey...I have to have things that I can wear to Legends when it re-opens. What better to wear to a country western club, than some good old fashioned blue jeans?! *Smile*

I am now hopelessly addicted to building! LOL!

While feeding my addiction by browsing in search, I ran across a listing for College of Second Knowledge. Being ever curious about such things these days, I went to investigate. *Grin*

Well, low and behold, this place is also home to the Build It Yourself Store http://slurl.com/secondlife/Atlas/172/183/38! Now this store has many good tutorials. Everything from learning to make a flower box to making your own hot tub complete with waterfall! Best of all, these tutorials are VERY affordable and include supplies needed! What a gem!

From what I have seen, there are also free classes or nearly free classes as well. There is a board outside for the College of Second Knowledge that will list upcoming events (classes), so check back often if you're interested.

Soooo....If you're like me and can't get enough of building your own goodies...go check it out! *Smile*

Why, it's a horseback ride on a beautiful sim with the one you love..of course!!

Jericho and I wound up with a bit of extra time tonight..that's rare! I take advantage of those rare moments every chance I get too! Tonight was no exception. *Smile*

I knew Jer had something on his mind when he got back on Ginger tonight, once we reconnected after dinner. When I asked him where he was going, he said...where ever you want to go. *Smile*

So, I quickly looked in search, to see if there were any places that were specifically for horseback riding...and guess what...there is!!

I found a place called Acclaimed SL Riding Club and Equestrian Network Clubhouse and Stables http://slurl.com/secondlife/Antilia/189/81/26 (whew! what a mouthful!) and let me tell you....its an awesome place!! Not only is this place big, but its beautifully done!! Lots of trail to ride on...gorgeous landscaping, beautiful private homes there...its just a really, really NICE set of sims!

If you have a horse and ride in SL..by all means GO THERE and check it out! It's lovely.

And of course...you HAVE to make time for FRIENDS!

My best friend, both and out of SL, is Mizzy. Since she listens to me whine, or bitch, or...whatever it is at the moment...I always make sure to make time for her whenever possible. Because without friends like her, I would be nothing!

Today she and I were chatting and carrying on...completely normal, or as close as it gets with she and I! LOL! As we were chatting, it occurred to me that she had not yet seen the two horses my husband presented me with for wedding gifts! DOH! For shame!! Soooo...I asked her where she was and low and behold, she was in one of my very first SL haunts! The Silver King Grill http://slurl.com/secondlife/Ranunculus/123/218/35! This is by far the kitchiest, coolest, 50's style grill in all of SL...and they have dance parties there on the weekends, last I knew!

So....I got on my horse and off I went to the Grill! Mizz and I had a great chat, albeit, a short one due to the dinner hour in RL. *Sigh*
I had time to chat with Mizz, take Othello; my black horse, for a spin around the sim AND take a pic!

You should go check out the Silver King Grill if you are looking for good, clean, old fashioned fun!

Keep in mind if you go, this is a PG sim, so dress and behave accordingly please. *Smile*

When you get to just basically goof off and have a good time, doing exactly what you want to do, instead of worrying about getting this or that done...or working! LOL!

I spent my day in quite a few enjoyable ways. The best of which, was spending time with my husband as he worked on getting his club, Legends, back in order and BETTER THAN EVER!

I'm telling you, this man never ceases to amaze me! He can invent and re-invent, better and quicker, than anyone I know! Legends was always a very cool country and western club from the first time I ever walked thru it's swingin' doors, but damnnnn it's REALLY great now! I just can't wait for the Grand Re-opening! (Yes, I'll blog about it before hand! LOL!)

I had a bit of a meltdown this afternoon, due to some RL issues, and my sweet hubby just took me in his arms, and comforted me, and made me feel safe. I have no doubts about why I married this gorgeous, wonderful, sweet man! And the icing on the cake, was to be able to do that within the walls of Legends...my home away from home! *Smile*

Hey! I even managed to get him back on his horse! There will be another post involving horses coming up shortly...but I just had to mention it now...since I got such really good pics of him on Ginger in front of Legends! LOL!

I even had time to build a few things while we were there today. A complete set of living room furniture in rich, deep, brown leather and smoky glass! WOO HOOO! That was a fun time! LOL!

No pics though..dunno WHAT I was thinking....but pics never entered my mind! Sorry!

I have a builder's box..FREE. I also have a prim finder..that has a price to it, but its worth it!

A quiet night with my husband...

Last night was one of those special, quiet, but fun nights.

I spent the remainder of my rez day quietly, with my husband, watching him put his club Legends back down for the first time in a very long time.

I love to watch him work..he's really good at it AND he's really, REALLY fun to look AT! *grin*

The nicest gift I received for rez day, was to see Legends back in-world where it belongs. The club has alot of meaning to me...it's where I shared my first dance and first kiss with Jericho. Plus, it just feels like HOME. *Smile*

It's not quite ready for use yet, but when it is you can bet I will be posting pics of Jericho's wonderful country and western club..complete with the landmark so you all can come and visit us and share a good time with good music and fantastic people!!

I am FINALLY learning to build...yay! LOL!

Something I have always wanted to learn to do in SL, was to build....create...contribute.

Now, with the help of my super and ever so patient husband, Jericho, I am finally taking the baby steps towards doing that. *Smile*

My rez day was yesterday...I'm a whole year old! Woo hoo! LOL!

As my gift, from Jericho, I received some really great tutorials and all kinds of builder's tools.

Needless to say, I was thrilled with the gifts!

A very good friend of mine, Vichal, has the most wonderful lady. Lady Hathaway writes tutorials and even teaches people in SL how to build and create. She has a store called Tutorials 2 Go http://slurl.com/secondlife/Machhapuchhre/85/135/97 where you can go and purchase her tutorials. They range from Beginner all the way up to Challenging and she even has some that teach you how to use some of the programs you might need, in order to make things like clothing and textures! Superwoman! LOL!

If you are wanting to learn to build and to do so at your own pace, this is the place to go to purchase tutorials, and they even include the supplies you will need for each tutorial! Who could ask for more?! Let me just say, when no one else could teach me, Jericho could...and so could Lady Hathaway by way of her tutorials! Tuts 2 Go ROCKS!!!!

This week she has made the cutest outfits! The first one being Sweetpea. This is a very cute, very cozy outfit. One you can wear when it isn't really winter, and yet it's not quite spring yet.

Sweetpea comes in three colors: Teal, mauve, and pink. Each outfit sold separately, of course.

Sweetpea comes with a very cute floral t-shirt, an over sweater with prim sleeves and prim waist tie, a pair of pedal pushers, and prim shoes. It also comes with a prim hat that includes hair...this is menu driven and you can change the hair color to one of many selections by simply clicking on the beret. WOW! Like I said, this is a very cute outfit and a must see...so come on by the store and check it out..I'd be more than happy to model any one of them. *Smile*

The other outfit she released just this morning! Its the SFD Buccaneer! This is just a cool outfit! If you like the pirate look..come get this outfit! There is a black version, and a blue version. The jacket is prim and has the coolest flexi I have ever seen on a coat! There is a gorgeous white shirt with prim lace down the front of it and the pants fit with that just right tight look. *Grin*

Something else Swaffy has been working hard at in the Lotus store, is the addition of a second floor! Much more room for all of her goodies and some very nice new departments. I bought Jericho a very nice music box that plays Keeper of The Stars and plays a slideshow in the inside of the cover. It was very afforadable and I was was pleased with it. Jericho loved it too, and that was the main thing! *Smiles*

My valentine's day was a quiet one. I spent my day talking with my new hubby, and while he was away at lunch, I went shopping to pick up a couple "I love you" gift for him. *Smile*

My first find was a gorgeous wall hanging with the perfect sentiment on it for Jericho and I.

I stumbled across the little Be My Valentine Shop at Knucklehead's http://slurl.com/secondlife/Dingo/110/20/56 , by pure accident, while checking out treasure hunts around SL. Michelle, the owner, was very gracious...although busy. She has just completed a remodel there. The little store changes themes with holidays, etc. So be sure to check back often! Well, my wedding day has come and gone...but will forever be remembered as THE most PERFECT day in my entire second life!!

As with all online weddings, we had some minor glitches to start with, but then it smoothed out and became the most beautiful ceremony! I'll never forget it! My man, standing there, staring into my eyes and telling me what was in his heart, and likewise for myself.

I was so pleased with the turn out too...there were so many there that I hadn't expected to show up. I was floored! It's nice to know who your friends are, and believe me, I found out who they were on that day! *Smiles*

This wedding didn't come without comic relief either! Voodoo made sure we all had quite a few laughs! Between his "falling asleep" while waiting for everything to come together so we could start the ceremony and his banter with Dood, I got plenty of laughs! LOL!

My special thanks goes to Raven, Voodoo, Dood, Tris, Kendall, and most of all Gaius! (He knows why!) *grin* Without these very special people, we would have never been able to do it! THANKS YA'LL!! MWAHHH!

Well....this time...Swaffette REALLY did it! She has released a TON of stuff all at once and just in time for Valentine's day! So...this is going to be a pretty long post. Lots of ground to cover. *Grin*

First there are the Love Heart PJ's. These are just TOO cute! Black with pastel conversation hearts all over them, they are perfect for snuggling by the fireplace or going to a valentine pj party! They come in both male and female versions. The ladie's is a very cute babydoll style and the men's are classic shorts and top. They are VERY affordable, so run on over to the store and get you a matching set for you and your special someone!

Next up is a very cute and very PINK version of Petite Coquine! This is one adorable corseted negligee!

New Hair at Calico Creations!!

Ok, I TRIED to behave and not spend too much while checking out hair tonite BUT..I went a bit nuts at Calico Creations http://slurl.com/secondlife/Calico%20Kitty/125/21/27 ! OMG! They have some fantastic new curly styles! I bought two!

They had a gorgeous long, full, curly style that I just HAD to have so I bought it! And then, of course, to balance it out I bought a more formal but curly style to go along with it. BOTH are just awesome!!

I own more hair from Calico Creations than I do anywhere, and there is a reason for that. It's THE BEST! So, if you're in the market for some new styles, get yourself over there and be ready to be overwhelmed with GREAT hair!

If there is one thing I'm absolutely crazy about in SL, it's the ability to change hair like you change clothes! It's the one thing I keep as current as I can on. And right now, I'm just a bit behind, but I'm catching up LOL!

I stopped at two of my favorite hair stores today just to see what was new there, and WOW!

My first stop was Analog Dog http://slurl.com/secondlife/Triggerfish/17/28/22 and what a pleasant surprise I got! They have some of the best hair textures around, and the new curly styles they have are no exception! You should go and see all the great hair there, AND the store itself. It's...different, artsy..you'll love it!!

I'm still having to play it cool with my purchases due to the wedding coming up...but VERY soon that won't be an issue anymore! WOOT!

I post so much about shopping, and the most important shopping of all has slipped by me for some reason.

Probably one of the most important purchases you will ever make in SL, is the purchase of your own little piece of it. By that, I mean virtual property.

I was lucky enough, nearly a year ago, to stumble across the best rental and property person in SL. His name is Uriah Igaly, and he is #1 the best landlord/landowner in SL, and #2 one of my best friends in-world.

You will not find a better person to deal with, should you take a mind to buy yourself a little piece of SecondLife. He's polite, cordial, and above all honest and dependable in his sales.

As much as I mention it, I'm sure the whole world now knows of my upcoming nuptuals in SL.

This is yet another shopping post having to do with the wedding LOL!

I wanted everything to be perfect for this wedding and that included my looks. Soo..I went in search of what I perceived to be the perfect skin for me to wear for the wedding. And I found it!!
Now, I will probably never take this skin off...unless the creator makes a new one I just can't resist LOL!

I consulted with a friend of mine, Risa, that has been a runway model in SL for a long time, and I asked her where she thought the best, most realistic and highly detailed skins were.

She never even hesitated, and told me to go to RaC http://slurl.com/secondlife/RaC%20City/180/139/29 (Raspberry and Cow).

Let me tell ya...she was right!!! WOW! These are, by far, THE best skins I have ever tried in SL, in the year I have been a resident! Granted, you will pay for perfection..but hey...IT'S PERFECTION! And my Daddy always told me..you get what you pay for! They are worth every penny and generally you get six makeup styles with each skin! THAT is a fantastic deal!!

So, if you're in the market for a new skin, and you really want quality, get on over to RaC and try them first! *Smiles*

If there is one thing I know...it's this..

When SL decides it's going to make "improvements" NOTHING works right! LOL!

This picture is a perfect example LOL! There I was, minding my own business and working at SF Designs. I had tried to change an outfit so that a customer could see one they were interested in buying and SL decided that right at that particular moment, it was going to mess with the asset servers! Argh! Sooooooo....I was STUCK half in one outfit, and half out of another one! Sheesh! LOL! *Note to self: DON'T change clothes on a rolling restart day! Hahahaha!

FINALLY!!! THE perfect bridal shoe for me!! WOOT!

I really and truly thought I was NEVER going to find MY bridal shoes! LOL! But Digital Knickers http://slurl.com/secondlife/The%20Sirens%20Grotto/183/54/24 saved the day! Wooo hooo!

The rest of the story goes something like this...

There I was, drooling over the perfect pair of bridal shoes and talking in IM to my finace, Jericho.

I clicked on that shoe vendor right away, because, by damn, I was gonna have these shoes and not let them slip away from me in a lightning fast shopping trip filled with a hoarde of landmarks and tp's that pile up so fast! *CLICK* *CHA-CHING* There goes the money. Ok...now I am waiting for my shoes. Hmmm....no shoes. Argh!! SL is borked today and my shoes never showed up! Soooo....I wait...nothing. *whimper* I whine to Jericho for a few minutes in IM, and then I decide...heck with it, I'm going to try again! LOL! I REALLY wanted these shoes..no...HAD to have these shoes at all costs! *CLICK* *CHA-CHING* Money taken...and low and behold there are my shoes this time! WOOT!!!

Ok...whewwwwww! I feel MUCH better at this point, having scratched yet another thing off the wedding list of "needs". But, there is the issue of the lost lindens to be dealt with.

I looked up the owner of Digital Knickers, and in the profile is says to contact her by way of notecard if you need her for anything. Ok...so, I type up the notecard, all the while praying she is online. LOL!

Let me say here, not only was she online, but Astry Mirabeau is one of THE nicest, and quickest store owners I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! *Smile* She took care of it for me straight away, and we had a very nice conversation in IM to top it off.

I have always loved her creations...bought boots and outfits there before, and was quite happy with them. Superb craftsmanship is put into everything she makes. And her store is gorgeous!

So, for all the SL Brides out there in search of the perfect shoe...GO TO DIGITAL KNICKERS!!
And pick up some other things while you're there..she has some very, very nice items! *Smile!

Since I didn't find my bridal shoes at Indyra's, my next stop was to Minx Original shoes http://slurl.com/secondlife/Hauwai/46/95/99 .
Now these are some hot shoes as well!! And tons of selection for everyone!

I started my search by looking at her pumps. All very, very cute and all have high detail work to them, but I just couldn't find that perfect pair. *whine* Sooo...I progressed to the platforms...nope...not what I want there either. At this point I am beginning to wonder if it's just me being too picky. LOL! Ok..so I check in the sandals..guess what...no surprise with me today...nope..not what I want. ROFL!

Now don't get me wrong! These are fantastic shoes! But, being the typical bride-to-be...I want perfection...Damnit! LOL!

You know, as much as I love shopping in SL, there are just some days when I should stay at home LOL!

I have been searching, sometime it seems to be in vain, for the perfect pair of wedding shoes to go with my gown.

My first stop today was to Indyra's Originals http://slurl.com/secondlife/Namaste%20Isle/120/134/27 , because I thought surely she would have the perfect shoes for me! I love her shoes AND her outfits. The shoes are among THE hottest styles in SL! But..alas, it was not to be. I found shoes I fell in love with, but couldn't be used for the wedding due to the black sole they have on them...just wouldn't look right with an all white ensemble.

Make sure when you're out travelling around in SL that you stop by Indyra's. You won't be sorry! Hot clothes, hot shoes...what more could a girl want?! *Smile*

Just in time for Valentine's Day weddings all over SL, Swaffette has created yet another dreamy wedding gown!

There is a place I have been meaning to blog about, and with the wedding plans and everything there is to do that goes along with a wedding, it has just sort of been on the back burner.

I have to tell you about Vision Homes http://slurl.com/secondlife/Vista/72/194/501 !!! OMG!! Not only does this place have the best prefab homes offered in SL, but it's ran by two of the very best people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in SL!

Trouble McTeague is the Architect at Vision Homes, and she is just one of the very best at what she does. She has such a wonderful collection of modern prefabs! You'll be stunned at the selection, sizes, and quality of her homes. She is also just the sweetest person I know!

Trouble's partner at Vision Homes is Sean Devin. Such a sweet man, and always so willing to help those that come to buy, browse, and just enjoy their sim. An incredible man to have as a friend and the perfect compliment to his business partner, Trouble.

Pictured below is the Vista sim from all 4 directions. Homes for every taste and all of them are 5 star quality! Please, if you get the chance, stop by and take a look, heck maybe you'll even find your dream home there...because they are all pretty dreamy designs!!

A sneak peek!

I thought I would give everyone a sneak peek at just a bit of the wedding...by posting pics of my completed wedding announcement now that Jericho has completed the building of it and I have finished the graphics portion of it. *Smile*

I have passed out the invites to prospective guests and of course to the wedding party members as keepsakes. I figure its time to show it off! *Grin*

I am so pleased and proud of the way Jericho made this. His skills are amazing! He never ceases to please me with the things he does for me. I guess that's why I love him so much! *Grin*

Ok..without further blathering from me, here are the pics of the announcement! All oooo's and ahhh's will be accepted with great pleasure LOL!

Friends can be the funniest!!

Ya know, there are just times when friends can be the funniest, greatest thing!

Last night I was working at SF Designs, spinning round and round and showing off some of THE best clothes in SL, and talking to my friend Tris. Now, I know, this doesn't sound like big news..but what transpired after that chat was not only pretty funny, but certainly deserved a mention in the blog LOL!

Tris was with her friend Forest, out shopping at ETD and Last Call. *Grin*

I had mentioned to Tris that there was a rat that had tp'd in to the store...but not just ANY rat..this one had on a pink tutu! ROFL!! So what does Tris do? She brings Forest in. Ok, again, not really news worthy...unless you know that Forest spends alot of his time in SL as a monkey! LOL! He came in, in his human form and we were introduced. Then he hops into his monkey avatar! OMG! That thing is so funny and realistic! And then, to make matters even funnier, I find out that Tris has one as well. And she hops into hers. I had two monkeys hopping all over the store and cutting up! I laughed until my sides split!

It's great to have great friends. But it's even better when those friends can come in and make your day brighter and fill it with laughter and memories. Cherish your friends folks, no matter where they are or how you know them. They make life...1st or second well worth living!! *smile*

The things you will do for entertainment sometimes! LOL!

I have shopped till I dropped this week. THAT is something I rarely do! But in this case, it was well worth it. *Smile*

First, there was the 100L sale at Last Call http://slurl.com/secondlife/Dazzle/68/13/144 ! Omg! That in itself was AWESOME! Everything is marked to 100L, with the exceptions of Runway items and fatpacks. If you haven't been there yet, you better get there SOON; this sale is expected to end in early February and once it's over, there will be no more Last Call clothing. The designers are retiring. *POUT*

Then...as if that wasn't enough, in the very next sim over ETD http://slurl.com/secondlife/ETD%20Isle/193/191/32 began a 25L sale on all of their hairstyles! ALL of them!!! Woooo hoooo!! Soooo...off I went to hair hunt! Ummm...this is something I should never do unsupervised LOL! I bought 30..yes 30 new hairstyles! But hey, it only cost me around 600L for ALL of that lovely hair to play with!! You can't beat that with a stick. Again, you best get there if you haven't already...the sale ends on the 26th!!

Ok, at this point I thought I was done. But wait!! JCNY http://slurl.com/secondlife/Farrah%20Island/126/93/144 announced its 50% off Pre-Valentine sale! OMG!! ::FAINT:: So, I hopped on my trusty landmark to the main store and landed in the middle of a store wide half off sale! Woot! I was in diamond ecstasy! I pretty much bought out the valentine section, she has some fabulous new valentine themed items and ohhhhh the bling! I did restrain myself, and left the rings alone...LOL! Do go and check it out...the Valentine display is gorgeous and you can't miss it; it's right in the middle of the front portion of the store, flanked by beautiful jeweled hearts. But check out the whole store for bargains you just can't do without! *Grin*

Thus ends my shopping saga.....for now! *Wink*

Oh my gosh! I can't begin to tell you how exciting this is for me as a SF Designs model!

Swaffy has won an assignment runway competition with her latest creations!!! And believe you me, she deserved it with these new creations. *Smile*

The formal that took the win is called Molto Bella and you just have to see it to believe how rich the textures are. I am, of course, posting pics but the best way to see it is to come to the store http://slurl.com/secondlife/Lotus/231/228/143 and view it on a model and then...BUY IT! You won't regret the purchase, it's PERFECT for Valentine's day! It even has a big prim bow on the back and prim sleeves..ohhh sooo NICE!

She also has a new casual outfit that is just cute, and fun, and everyday. Annette is just a very nice outfit to have in your closet! Again, come to see it in the store to get the very best view. If I don't have it on, I'll be more than happy to get it on so you can see how cute it really is. With prim pantlegs, and prim lace cuffs on the over sweater, and a rainbow pocket on the jeans, its almost boho cute! Come see!!

Her third...yes THIRD new outfit this week is a sporty outfit. If you hike or bike or just enjoy the outdoors in SL, this is a MUST for your wardrobe! Complete with button up prim cuffs and hiking boots it's a complete and cute outfit for the outdoorsy girl. *Smile*

Whew! It's getting very VERY busy these days for me! It won't be long before I hear those wedding bells! Woot!

An Eventful Day

Whew! Today has been ONE OF THOSE DAYS! LOL!

It started off nice enough...I was well rested and my eyes flew open at 4:30 am! LOL! Soo...once my coffee was in hand, I decided to check out a Hair and Fashion place I had been told about. So I hauled out my landmark, and went to check out Sirena's Hair and Fashion http://slurl.com/secondlife/West%20Sunset/159/50/22 . This is a really nice place to get hair! There are many styles, and most of them are different enough for me to want to buy a FEW! They also have a big variety of men's styles, and that's just unusual for SL. *smile* Check it out when you get the chance.

I spent the rest of my day modeling at SF Designs http://slurl.com/secondlife/Lotus/231/228/143 , and spending time with my sweet Jericho. It was a quiet day, but a nice one. (I'll have a nice post tomorrow to show off the new Celtic Leather outfits that Swaffy just made and put out in the stores today!)

Then long about 6 in the evening, I got an IM requesting a DJ asap! Since I manage Olddood56 Chaffe, I quickly got in touch with him to see if he could do the job. He was only happy to do so. Whew! So...after making contact and putting Dood in touch with the management of Ocean Dreams Jazz and Blues Club http://slurl.com/secondlife/Flathead/82/22/27 , and working out all the details....I had shopping to do! The event at the club was a Pj Party, and while I had the jammies and slippers, I wanted to put the finishing touches on the outfit. *Grin*

My first stop was to Barbie's Boutique http://slurl.com/secondlife/Odessa%20Grand/57/226/22 ...just to check and see if she had any new jammies and slippers sets that I might have wanted to get for the event. OMG! She has just tons of very cute jammies and slippers. It's a MUST if you go to any events of that nature, to shop in her store! Deciding that what I had was more than adequate for the event, I moved along.

Next stop....The Snuggle Bear HQ http://slurl.com/secondlife/Silver%20Lake/42/118/27 !! These are some of the cutest bears and other snuggly critters! There is quite a variety of critters, and many different ways to "wear" them too. There is also another store (pictured in the background) that carries pjs with snuggle bears included to match the outfits. You have to check this place out if you like snuggly, cuddly animals OR if you have SL kids in your SLife.

So I grabbed a little blue bear, and I was off to grab the final touch to this fun outfit.

Last, but certainly not least, was my visit to Curl Up and Dye Salon http://slurl.com/secondlife/Inari/34/223/401 . This is the ONLY place that I have ever seen in SL that makes hair up in curlers to wear! LMAO! And that is exactly what I bought! LOLOL! I thought it only fitting that since it was a pj party, AND since my employee, Dood, dragged me out late enough for me to be settled in all snug with a movie and popcorn and in my jammies for real...that I should come in looking like Girl Interrupted! Hahaaha!!

So ok...got all my goodies. I head back home real fast to put it all together, and then I'm off to put in an appearance at Dood's gig. I always try to do that when he is playing at a new place for the first time. It just looks better if I do..since I handle all his bookings. Shameless plug here...if you need a GREAT DJ that is dedicated, and talented, IM me in-world to discuss a booking. *Grin*

Next stop, Ocean Dreams (SLURL posted earlier in this blog entry). This is a very nice club, and the people there are equally as nice and a lot of fun to spend time with. They are mainly jazz, blues, and easy listening....a perfect place to spend time with your special SL Someone. *Smile*

Now, didn't I just look totally hideous?! LMAO! It must have been a good costume for the contest, because I won! WOOT! More lindens for that wedding that's coming up on my horizon! *GRIN*

And that was my SL evening. Whew! Now..I'm off to grab that movie, and some fresh popcorn, since I gave all of my last batch away at Ocean Dreams tonight LOL!

Happy 2008 Everyone!!

I have to tell you...mine started out just fanfreekintastic! And it started before the clock struck midnight. *Smile*

First of all, it dawned on me the morning of New Year's Eve, that UH OH..I hadn't finished my New Year's card I had plans to pass out to all of my friends and SL family! So...off to work I went. I hauled out my paint shop pro and some great copyright free images to suit the occasion and began to create the art for the card. THEN, I had to build the card! LOL! So I popped over to the wedding build area, where Jericho ( I THOUGHT) had left me the prim additions to the card. Well! Guess what?! Ummm....they were no copy, no mod! LOL! That means I couldn't use them in the card. Soooo....I had to come up with something, and rather quickly! LOL! So ok, what to do?! Ah ha! Break out the browser and get on the SLExchange to look for some prim accents...hopefully for free, that are also full perm AND fit the theme of the card! I don't want much!! Hahahahaa! After MUCH searching, I found a Vodka bottle that was full perm, FREE and it fit the theme! WOOT!

So ok, I have all my goodies and I'm ready to make this card. Guess what?! LOL! I had a brainfart, and could not for the life of me remember how the heck to link items together! ROFL!

I called on my friend Alex, and once again, she rescued me with a bit of a memory jog! But not before I completely destroyed my first martini glass, by clicking the wrong thing in tools and unlinking the whole thing! Hahahahahaa! I recovered quickly though, by simply dragging a new one out. With a little help from Alex I got the whole thing linked up and packaged into my inventory. Then the fun...I got to pass it out to everyone and enjoy all the New Year's greetings! *Smile*

While Alex and I were standing there and chit chatting as I passed out my card...the absolute BEST surprise came dropping in! JERICHO!!! He came home early!! Woot! It didn't take long, and Alex cut out so he and I could spend some time together. *Smile* We did some catching up, and then I showed him the card in its finished form and told him all about my building mishaps LOL! He was pretty impressed with the card. *grin* My poor baby was so tired from driving all day to get home. So we met up at SF Designs http://slurl.com/secondlife/Lotus/231/228/143 and parked so we both could grab some dinner and rest up a bit before the New Year's festivities began.

Around midnight eastern time, Jericho and I met back up again. I wished him his Happy New Year and then we were off (after a kiss) to dance our way into 2008 together as we rung in the New Year in central time for me! What a way to begin a year, in my baby's arms...Mmmmm!

I hope you all had as enjoyable of a time for your New Year as I did. *Smile*
